As the New Year begins to inch closer, we come to a crossroad: the end of one year, and the beginning of another. This past year, Quilt Quarters has had so much fun hosting events, celebrations, and classes for our community here in Indianapolis, and we’re fortunate enough to have a whole new year to look forward to! We already have events and sewing classes in the New Year lined up (even if they haven’t been released yet), and would love to see new faces there!
There are plenty of reasons why seeking out new experience for growth and connection can benefit you. Here are 3 reasons for you to sign up for more Quilt Quarters classes in 2024!
1. Improve Your Sewing Skills
That’s what our classes are for! From beginners’ classes that come included with the purchase of a Bernina sewing machine at Quilt Quarters to monthly class series, we have something for everyone. Each class varies regarding what materials you will need to bring, but oftentimes, your ticket will include a package of the necessary materials, and all you’ll have to bring is your machine! Learn more about your machine and different techniques with us!
2. Connect with Others in Your Hobby
Attending classes and events at a sewing, quilting, and embroidery craft store is a great way to meet others who are interested in the same hobbies and make friends! Especially if you’ve just moved into the area, or are looking for a community to connect to, looking in places where you are bound to share interests with others is a great way to connect. Birds of a feather flock together, after all!
3. Participate in Special Opportunities
Our classes and events sometimes feature special opportunities that you might not get to participate in many other times! Whether this be trying out a new or special-edition machines, meeting big names in the sewing, quilting, and embroidery community, or getting instructed in new, difficult techniques in-person, our 2024 classes and events are sure to offer an experience that you might not find anywhere else!
