Containing some of the newest technology of advanced sewing, the Brother Aveneer EV1 sewing and quilting machine is built with a sleek, modern look and packs a punch with how many functions and features it offers, like:
1. An Industry-Leading Workspace
You’ll have the largest workspace, embroidery and projector area available with an industry-leading 14.1” workspace (70 square inches) from needle to arm. This gives you space for anything from large home dé cor projects to upcycled creations. The large 11 5/8” x 18 1/4” embroidery frame is the largest and most advanced embroidery frame ever offered by Brother. With the projector area, you can now project stitches or designs onto an 8” x 5” (127 x 203mm) projection area for precise placement and edit directly on fabric, such as moving, resizing, and rotating!
2. Picture Play Embroidery (AI Technology)
The Picture Play Embroidery Function converts photos or images into thread art and displays it directly on-screen with your choice of 10 embroidery filter options, giving the users the ability to effectively “paint with thread” for the ultimate customized presentation.
3. ISR Intelligent Stitch Regulator
Keeping all stitch lengths even, this feature adjusts the needle timing to match the actual speed of the fabric being fed into the machine. Users will have access to three modes – Continuous, Intermittent, and Basting – and three free motion feet.
4. Edge-to-Edge Quilt Feature
With easy-to-follow instructions and 15 patterns to choose from, this dynamic feature lets users finish their quilt top directly on the Aveneer EV1 – even with a 10” x 10” magnetic hoop! No need for a Long Arm! The bobbin now holds 10% more thread than previous models.
5. StitchVision Technology
With StitchVision Technology, you can see stitches before making them! By projecting a marker line, square, circle, or grid directly on to fabric in one of 16 colors, this feature brings the reassurance of precision to every project.
6. Voice Guidance Feature
For auditory learners, the Aveneer EV1 gently guides users audibly through next steps of a project with a choice of voice in 6 languages. This feature is optional and can be turned off.
7. Compatibility with Artspira, My Design Snap Apps
The compatibility features of the Aveneer EV1 expands the creative possibilities for projects. The Artspira Mobile App provides access to exclusive designs and projects in the hoop with the added ability to create unique patterns by drawing directly on a mobile device and then wirelessly transferring them to the EV1. Plus, the My Design Snap App provides users the opportunity to digitize any photo in one of 10 styles – all wirelessly between a mobile device and the EV1.
8. A Library of Built-in Designs
EV1 owners will have access to a vast collection of:
- Over 800 sewing stitches
- 1,858 embroidery designs
- 31 fonts
- over 200 Disney character patterns

9. Buttonhole Preview
A first in the industry and exclusive to Brother, this innovative feature lets users preview the style, vertical or horizontal placement, and spacing of buttonholes through the powerful projector.
10. Quiltbroidery
The EV1’s Quiltbroidery features are all about versatility. With five options for two-color quilting sash designs, it’s easy to create a variety of eye-catching, colorful borders and quilting patterns, including easy-to-connect two-color designs. The auto-split designs are further enhanced with 5 hexagon shapes for additional creativity. The EV1 offers single or triple-stitch options for sash quilting stitches that stand out on all projects.
