This helps me know if this machine feels right or wrong for me and my skill level. After you buy a machine, they also allow you to set up a one on one class to learn, master your machine and it’s settings. You may pay more than a big box sewing machine but you can’t try them before buying and sales are usually final and there’s a difference. I have both which is what led me into sewing authority. “My local dealer wanted $750-800. and were going to ship it to Chicago for repair. It would take 6-8 weeks.I took my Bernina 880 here because it would no longer self thread. They fixed it in less than 2 weeks for only $125.00. Also found out that they are MUCH cheaper for supplies, material, thread, etc. than my local dealer. This is the place for all sewing machine repair as well as a great place to shop. While talking to them we inquired about some local restaurants. They steered us right. Food was great. It was well worth the 2 hour drive. They also have a GREAT assortment of new and used vacuums for sale.”
