Upcoming Event Reminder: Quiltbroidery by Brother
Attention fans of Brother and all Quilt Quarters customers! Coming up on September 29th and 30th, Quilt Quarters is hosting a Brother Special Event at the store called Quiltbroidery 101. Tickets are $49.99 per day and each day’s event will last from 9am-4pm and includes fun, hands-on learning opportunities with a super-duper Brother machine and lots of companionship from other sewing enthusiasts.

What is Quiltbroidery?
Quiltbroidery lies at the intersection of quilting (including piecing and appliqué) and machine embroidery. It ranges from stitching machine-embroidery designs on patchwork to completing a bed-sized quilt with batting and backing, all using your embroidery machine. While some Quiltbroidery techniques are machine-specific, relying on the software and functionality of a particular machine model, others can be accomplished on any machine with basic embroidery capabilities…even in a 4″ x 4″ hoop.

This hands-on Brother event is a full day of sewing and embroidery fun! Attendees will explore advanced technology features to piece and quilt the center of their project. Then, try their hand at edge-to-edge quilting in the hoop. A custom appliqué provides the opportunity to test drive the ScanNCut DX SDX330D and discover why an electronic cutting machine is the perfect companion for their embroidery machines.
